Leading and Managing within a County System with Wes Grose

When we are given assignments within our respective counties to lead or manage people, there are many unknown factors which come into play, and duties for which we are responsible which can seemingly conflict with what we believe are our jobs. This session will be an interactive discussion about how to identify and deal with things like the political nature of our jobs, leadership in a county management position, handling frustrating circumstances, and leaving the county better than when we found it. Come prepared to think and be challenged, and possibly change your view of managing.
