Understanding Alzheimer's and Dementia: Alzheimer's disease is NOT a normal part of aging. It is a disease of the brain that causes problems with memory, thinking, and behavior. Learn about the impact of Alzheimer’s, the difference between Alzheimer’s and dementia, the three stages, and the risk factors for this disease. We will also discuss current research and treatments available to address some symptoms, as well as resources available through the Alzheimer’s Association. Currently, there are over 6 million people impacted by this disease in the US.
