The health and safety of our staff and event attendees is our highest priority. As we continue to monitor guidance related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the State of California, we are committed to taking appropriate precautions to provide a safe environment that does not place our staff or event attendees at undue risk nor cause a potential super-spreader event that could affect the communities we serve. As such, we will require all event attendees to follow the below guidelines while attending our Fall conference:

  • The Executive Board has decided to continue with our current vaccination policy: attendees must be fully vaccinated meaning 2 doses of Pfizer or Moderna OR 1 dose of J&J (no booster shots are required). Attendees must provide their Covid-19 vaccination record to attend the conference as we are not accepting negative Covid-19 tests as an alternative. If you are unwilling to provide the required documentation you will not be allowed into the conference. Vaccination records need to be added as part of the event registration process.
  • We are currently not requiring that masks be worn during the conference. However, the Association will uphold any local, state, and federal recommendations or mandates, that are in place during our conference dates. If there is a local, state, or federal mask mandate in effect during the conference dates, any attendee that does not wear a mask, or wears it incorrectly, may be asked to leave the conference. Refunds will not be granted to those that do not comply with this guidance.
