TRAINING OVERVIEW

The PA regional boot camps are designed to provide a basic overview of Public Administration laws, codes and responsibilities including: making the decision to take on a case, searching for assets, and the general process for Probating an Estate as well as a public ethics review including aspects of fiduciary duty and ethical dilemmas.  

This specific training focuses solely on the Public Administrator role though Public Guardians and Public Conservators and those in other related disciplines may benefit from the training as well. This training provides 5 CA PA|PG|PC certification credits.

  • Registration: Regional Trainings are on a first come, first serve basis as many of our training venues have limited seating. Registration will automatically close when all available seats for an event have been booked. Walk-ins are not allowed
  • No-Show Policy: If a registered attendee does not show up the day of the event, the registrant is responsible for paying the full amount for the training 
  • Receiving Credits: Members wishing to receive credits for this training must sign in at the event. After the attendance sheet has been verified by the ED's office, members can download a certificate of completion by logging into Member365 and going to My Account/My Certificates. Non-members needing verification of attendance can email pking@capapgpc.org. Please note: members who are more than 15 minutes late to the training will not receive credits for that training.
