Virtual Preparing to be a Witness and Providing Testimony Under Oath: This training will provide PA|PG|PC professionals with guidance related to witness testimony. Participants will learn things to do, and things to not do, when preparing for, and providing, testimony under oath in both depositions and in court testimony.

Presenter: Lisa Ribeiro

Lisa S. Ribeiro is a Deputy County Counsel in the San Joaquin County Counsel’s Office. Ms. Ribeiro has been a licensed attorney in California for more than 20 years, and a Deputy County Counsel for over 15 years. Ms. Ribeiro is currently assigned to represent the County Public Guardian/Conservator, as well as represent the County in various employment related matters. For the County Public Guardian/Conservator, Ms. Ribeiro handles the legal work for all probate conservatorship matters (both person and estate), as well as all legal work for estate related matters in LPS conservatorships.

The training will take place on January 19th from 9:00 am-11:00 am via Zoom.

An email with the Zoom link and instructions on how to attend will be sent out a day prior to the training.

The training is virtually designed to ensure that the benefits of in-person trainings are still available. This will include being able to ask questions, have access to the training materials, and converse with fellow members.

You must complete the entire registration process to be added to the training list. You will know the process is completed when the page clearly indicates confirmation that you are registered and provides a receipt.
