The health and safety of our staff and event attendees is our highest priority. As we continue to monitor guidance related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the State of California, we are committed to taking appropriate precautions to provide a safe environment that does not place our staff or event attendees at undue risk nor cause a potential super-spreader event that could affect the communities we serve. As such, we will require all event attendees to follow the below guidelines while attending our Association in-person events:

  • The Executive Board has decided to continue with our current vaccination policy: attendees must be fully vaccinated meaning 2 doses of Pfizer or Moderna OR 1 dose of J&J (no booster shots are required). Attendees must provide their Covid-19 vaccination record to attend the academy as we are not accepting negative Covid-19 tests as an alternative. If you are unwilling to provide the required documentation you will not be allowed into an in-person event. Vaccination records need to be added as part of the event registration process.
  • We are currently not requiring that masks be worn during the training. However, the Association will uphold any local, state, and federal recommendations or mandates, that are in place during in-person event dates. If there is a local, state, or federal mask mandate in effect during an Association in-person event, any attendee that does not wear a mask, or wears it incorrectly, may be asked to leave the event. Refunds will not be granted to those that do not comply with this guidance.
