Public Benefits Overview 
To give professionals an overview of public benefits, including requirements for programs and where to obtain assistance. The training provides a general overview of public benefits available, including  General Assistance/Relief, Social Security, Medi-Cal, Medicare, CalFresh, and In Home Supportive Services. Participants will have an opportunity to learn information on requirements for programs and where you may obtain additional assistance. 
 
Paul Angelini was born and raised in Southern California’s Inland Empire and has over 34 years of providing quality public service. He brings a wealth of information bringing over 26 years of experience in, and interacting with, various Public Benefit programs, such as: Cash Assistance, CalFresh, Medi-Cal, General Relief, Child Care, IHSS, Social Security, Homeless assistance, as well as a brief time in Employment Services. Paul currently is a CAPAPGPC member working in Orange County as the Senior Deputy Public Guardian, Strategy & Special Programs/Public Guardian. He has eight years in the Public Guardian office, which requires him to interact with or utilize some of the programs that he has worked with throughout this career.

The training will take place on December 2nd from 09:00am - 11:00am via Zoom

An email with the Zoom link and instructions on how to attend will be sent out a day prior to the training. 

The training is virtually designed to ensure that the benefits of in-person trainings are still available. This will include being able to ask questions, have access to the training materials, and converse with fellow members. 

You must complete the entire registration process to be added to the training list. You will know the process is completed when the page clearly indicates confirmation that you are registered and provides a receipt. That receipt is proof of your registration and is important to have for your records.
